My Story

Vibhor grew up across multiple cities in Maharashtra. He studied botany and biochemistry at IISER Pune, where his interest in the intersection of biology and disease began to take shape. Now, in the lab, he's exploring how the gut microbiome and immune system interact, especially how this crosstalk contributes to gut-related disorders like Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Outside the lab, Vibhor is always up for catching a good match, whether it’s football, cricket, or Formula 1, usually over food and brews somewhere off-campus. If there’s a game on, there’s a good chance he’s already picked the best place to watch it.
