My Story

Preeti is from the capital of India, Delhi. She did her schooling from Army Public schools in Hisar, Alwar, Siliguri and Delhi. For the love of biology and chemistry, she decided to pursue undergraduate studies in Biochemistry from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. She then moved to Mumbai to pursue Masters in Biotechnology from IIT Bombay. With a keen interest in Immunology, she joined the Jhunjhunwala lab for her doctoral studies, where she worked on understanding the interaction of phagocytic immune cells with particulates. She successfully defended her PhD in March 2022.

Preeti is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Dan Peer’s laboratory at the Tel Aviv University.

Apart from doing experiments in the lab, you will find Preeti watching a cricket match or exploring eateries in Bangalore. This happy-go-lucky girl is also a fitness enthusiast. She loves to travel and is always excited to explore a new place.
