My Story

Rakesh was born and brought up in the silver city, Cuttack. He did his schooling from Cambridge school, Cuttack and intermediate from Ravenshaw Junior College, Cuttack. During his intermediate, he developed interest in Biology and this interest deepened during his undergraduate program in Biomedical Engineering in NIT Rourkela. Interested to gain new perspectives on how Bioengineering can make a difference in healthcare, he joined the doctorate program in Immunoengineering lab in BSSE, IISc. Besides research, Rakesh is known for being a fitness freak and a dancer. He can go on and on when there is a discussion on fitness. He considers himself as the biggest F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan. He also loves travelling, photography and trying adventure activities.
